I had a white haze on my two intables located on either side of my sofa from years of setting wet glasses, plates, food, etc. on the table tops. We're all guilty of placing a cold beverage or drink without using a coaster to protect the wood underneath. And after the fact, we all know how it is nearly impossible to get rid of those water rings and spots that damage the wood.
Well no more. I bought Restor-A-Finish (Dark Walnut) at my local Home Depot along with some steel wool "000" pads. (Don't worry about buying and using the steel wool pads, the "000" and "0000" are extra fine and non-abrasive for use on furniture) After about 15-20 minutes of rubbing it in, all I can say is wow! It really does work! I can notice a vast improvement from before and after use. This is an excellent purchase and I highly reccommend to others about the effectiveness of this fix-all furniture restoration product.

I just used this (the light oak version) on my 20 year old Merolat cabinets in the kitchen. I didn't used the steel wool, just an old washcloth to put it on with some rubber gloves on. It took me about 30 minutes to apply and wipe off the excess. The cabinets now look 10 years younger, I then applied the wax next weekend for a protective shine. This is a great product and I have used it before on an old china cabinet to spruce it up, just wipe on and wipe off. I am sure if I used steel wool it would even look better, but hey, I am happy as it is doing it the lazy and simple way, great stuff! The 2nd coat a week later worked even better, excellent product!
